Employment Period
full time with immediate start following clearance (obtained within 30 days after acceptance). Initial period is through 12/25/26 but has the ability to extend through 12/31/28 with government funding approval.
Education
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in performing IT requirements analysis
  • BS or BA (MS or MBA preferred)
  • Five (5) years of experience in Salesforce

Summary Description

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect to support a high-profile federal government contract with the General Services Administration (GSA). The ideal candidate will be an independent, client-facing professional capable of leading discovery activities, evaluating existing Salesforce org configurations, assessing GAO audit findings, and establishing a strategic roadmap for platform modernization. This role serves as a key bridge between business stakeholders, enterprise architects, administrators, developers, and executive leadership to drive operational efficiency, data quality, compliance, and user adoption across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and workshops with business users, technical teams, and leadership.
  • Analyze the existing Salesforce org, including current business processes, workflows, configurations,
  • integrations, security model, reporting, and user experience.
  • Review and assess GAO audit findings, risks, and recommendations related to the Salesforce environment and associated processes.
  • Document current-state and future-state business processes, business requirements, and functional/technical gaps.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, Salesforce administrators, developers, and program leadership to develop solution recommendations.
  • Prioritize findings and recommendations based on business value, operational risk, technical feasibility, and compliance considerations.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations, documentation, and a phased implementation roadmap.
  • Facilitate alignment between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, governance, reporting, automation, user adoption, and operational efficiency.
  • Support strategic planning and modernization initiatives related to the Salesforce platform.
Qualifications (Minimum)
The candidate must have
  • 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst, Salesforce Consultant, Architect, or related role.
  • Experience conducting independent discovery, analysis, and stakeholder engagement on existing
  • Salesforce implementations.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including Service Cloud, workflows/automation, reports, dashboards, profiles/permissions, and data management.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, user stories, workflows, and process maps.
  • Ability to assess functional and technical issues and develop practical recommendations.
  • Experience collaborating with technical architects, developers, administrators, and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Agentforce and an understanding of the future of AI and the Salesforce platform.
Qualifications (Preferred)
The following qualifications are preferred but not required:

    • Previously worked at GSA with badging and clearance
    • Previously worked in government
    • Previously worked on large projects with more than 100 resources or 20 million in value
    • Experience supporting federal government agencies or public sector organizations.
    • Familiarity with GAO audits, federal compliance standards, or oversight processes.
    • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Agentforce Specialist, Administrator, Business Analyst, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Service Cloud Consultant.
    • Experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience and platform modernization efforts.
    • Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and product backlog management.
    • Experience assessing Salesforce integrations, data governance, and enterprise architecture considerations.
    • Familiarity with DevOps and release management practices within Salesforce environments.
    • Experience supporting change management and user adoption initiatives.
