Summary Description

OmniSolve is seeking a Mid-Level Salesforce Developer. You will be responsible for supporting multiple delivery projects for our client, General Services Administration (GSA). The ideal candidate for this position enjoys problem-solving, has come up through the technical ranks, and has worked as a Salesforce platform developer. Responsibilities include solving technical problems daily while handling escalated requests for Salesforce declarative and programmatic development issues. This
program will support the GSA Information Technology mission, providing development and operational support for new and existing legacy mission-enabling applications. The team will work to modernize current and new application development leveraging a continuous integration/delivery pipeline to enable an agile DevOps Strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Providing Salesforce development best practice insight for secure application development.
  • Implementation of enterprise apex development patterns at scale.
  • Analyzing organizational capabilities to suggest process and performance improvement.
  • Troubleshooting performance issues using tools like debug logs and dev console.
  • Troubleshooting system configuration and data management issues.
  • Partner cross-functionally on platform innovation and DevOps maturity.
  • Providing apex and/or Jest LWC Unit testing best practice recommendations.
  • Collaborating with internal and client staff in identifying, planning, executing, tracking, and reporting all activities for security and compliance-related activities.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex data loads (e.g., governor limits, performance, process builders, apex timeouts).
Qualifications (Minimum)
The candidate must have experience in the following:
  • Have at least one of the following certifications:  Javascript Developer 1; OmniStudio Developer; or Platform Developer 1
  • Must have a Platform Developer II certification
  • Three or more years of experience with Salesforce, with a minimum of 2 years of Salesforce development experience.
  • BA/BS degree OR 4 years of equivalent experience.
  • Deep knowledge of invocable method development, custom settings, and custom metadata types.
  • Experience with Git-based version control.
  • Experience with Salesforce DX CI/CD toolset, optimization & troubleshooting of relevant processes.
  • Experience with multiple salesforce org environments and troubleshooting.
  • Capable of conducting code reviews and architectural reviews.
  • Experience and a general understanding of networking technologies and firewalls to troubleshoot networking issues and determine root causes (i.e., Salesforce versus network cause).
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on cross-functional teams.
  • Skill in interpersonal and verbal/written communications, presentations, math, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to communicate both verbally and in written form.
  • Must be able to obtain a government security clearance.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must have reliable internet service that allows for effective telecommuting.
  • Clearance: Ability to obtain a government clearance.

Experience supporting Federal clients.
